The Lake Monsters are friends from many bluegrass and other acoustic music bands from The Upper Midwest that got together for a monthly gig at Lake Monster Brewery in the summer of 2023. At the end of the summer we were having so much fun we decided to keep it going. The idea is simple, straight ahead classic bluegrass - Songs we all know and play together when we're just jamming and doing it just for the fun of it. They did a weekly residency Feb-March 2024 at The Zen Arcade at The Hook and Ladder Lounge, and also played at The Icehouse Sunday Brunch series and KJ’s Hideaway. They are also looking forward to another summer at Lake Monster two times a month until October 2024
